The room was beautifully decorated and incredibly festive, thanks to the efforts of Margaret Carpenter and the Culinary Committee party hounds.

The appetizers alone would have made anyone happy, but were followed by delicious main dishes and an over-the-top dessert buffet, including delicious Mushroom Piroshki by Vellany Pearce and a great Pecan, Bourbon, and Butterscotch Bread Pudding from Epicurious (Bon Appétit) prepared by Monise Sheehan. It doesn’t contain mushrooms, but it is divine and would be really good with a few Candy Caps thrown in.

The final treat was a tray of Candy Cap Glazed Pumpkin Tarts made by Bob Wynn!
