Sand Rock Farm Fungi Dinner was Exquisite!
Our first Fungi Dinner of the season was on November 1 at Lynn Sheehan's Sand Rock Farm Bed & Breakfast. The dinner was exquisite. The company was superb.

I absolutely love the ambiance, the fireplace, overstuffed chairs, long dining room table, the right background music.
Oh, and did I mention the wines brought by Jerold O'Brien and David Bruce and the Riesling from Lynn's cellar. We started with the Silver Mountain 1998 Chardonnay; next a 1998 Vin D'Alsace Riesling Domaine Zind-Humbrecht; then my favorite of the evening a 1969 Domaine Docteur Marion Chambertin Clos de Beze; a 1972 Clos De La Roche Domaine Ponsot and finishing with a 1998 Pinot Noir David Bruce Russian River Valley.
