Phyllis Cole: New NAMA President

I'm pleased to report that the FFSCs own Phyllis Cole was elected President of the North American Mycological Association at the just completed foray in Beaumont, Texas. Congratulations, Phyllis!

Larry Stickney informs us that the foray yielded about 250 named species, many for the first time in that area. Southern hospitality lived up to it's reputation and a good time was had by all.

The foray has also yielded a capable and energetic President for the group. Phyllis will no doubt carry the FFSC's tradition of keeping the "fun" in fungus to a national level. Cheers!
