Hearken Fellow Fungophile!
The Autumn is now just upon us-
We have waited for awhile,
In summer's sultry, blazing saunas.
But soon...
From the soil beneath the grass,
Tiny buttons will arise.
Caps expanding rather fast:
Waking dreams before our eyes.
Winter knocks upon the door
Calling out to those who listen:
"Go and search the forest floor
When the Redwood needles glisten..."
Spring's rebirth is nearly here-
Golden sun coaxing flowers.
The winter's rain dried up like tears,
Soothed by every passing hour.
The colder season's passed us by,
Leaving many jewels sequestered.
We can only sit and sigh-
"Perhaps we'll find them next semester."
Peace and Love Everyone
Christian
