An Appeal for Help on FFSC History

Bill McGuire suggested a letter in the Duff. I had to turn that suggestion a bit, to fit my need. His suggestion related to past newsletters. I've already got those. Bill has a set, so does Larry Payne. And Shea Moss is working on a possible loan.

What I need is your experiences. Specifically, who or what made FFSC special, and why. I look through the Duffs, and they're really interesting. But Shea Moss wrote a piece on Brad Beebe, and when I see his name in a newsletter, I get enthusiastic. The articles in the Duff can't give me your enthusiasm. And remember, FFSC started in 1984, with our first general meeting on September 19th. People have a way of being there for a while, then falling into the background. Stick it in a letter. Don't forget to sign it, and add your address. If I can't get you to fess up to writing it, I won't use it. There's probably a thousand pages of newsletters, for substance and substantiations. But I may need your review, or clarification. A lot of things aren't said in the newsletters. Really, this is nothing more than my mushroom collecting and ID'ing compulsion turned to history.
