About This Event
Please join us on March 18 for our monthly speaker and social.
FFSC members gather together on the third Wednesday of the month from September through May to catch up, discuss club business, and learn from interesting speakers. Plus, you can bring any fungi you have been lucky enough to find for identification!
New Zealand and South America were once part of the ancient supercontinent Gondwana. As these continents drifted apart, they developed their own ecologies, endemics and unique fungal species. This presentation explores the similarities, differences and beauty of these far southern forests. We explore biodiversity, ecology and evolution through imagery and natural history.
Would you like to get to know this month's speaker better? Join us for Dinner with the Speaker at 5pm, prior to this event.
