My hometown, Chongqing, China—nicknamed the “Mountain City” and “Fog City” and home to 30 million people—is famous for its spicy cuisine, ancient rock carvings, and breathtaking landscapes featured in Transformers. Little is known, however, about its mushrooms.

About the Speaker
Harvey Feng is an FFSC member, and visited Chongqing, China in September 2025 after the first soaking rain.
He has a Ph.D. in biomedical research from the University of Utah, with extensive experience in business development. Founder of ClassX, he is dedicated to reconnecting people with real nature.
